Okay so I finally got my presonus firepod working on my comp and learned how to record and wet neut. I also have the Cad 7 piece mic set that I use for my drum set. I use magix samplitude to record each individual track so I can eq each one for a different sound. Okay so the problem is, that every mic besides the overheads work. When I hit record in magix, every drum record (kick, snare, high tom, low tom, floor tom) besides the 2 overheads. So the cymbals only get the sound from all those mics. there's 2 buttons on the overheads, and I tried messin with them but they still don't record anything in the tracks. and I tried different ports on the firepod and different tracks in magix, set them from mono to stereo to record to ram but still no sound from the recording of them. xD anyone know why? Are the mics bad? I just bought them so I doubt it, what am I doing wrong? Thanks, help appreciated!:D

I expect that the overhead mikes will be condensor mikes. They need phantom power.

My guess is that you need to turn on the Firepod's phantom power (48v).

I'm not familiar with the CAD set, but I'm guessing the overheads are condensor mics and you need phantom power for them.

Thanks for the replies, bout to try it right now with phantom power on, doh! I only used it for ports 1-4! And I just tried it out and turns out, it was the phantom power off! Thanks guys, appreciate the help once again!:)
