Help with Nuendo/SBLive...

I'm experiencing the same problem I see others posting about in the various recording forums...lag when recording audio takes in Nuendo, using an SBLive card. Unfortunately, I run W2K, so I can't use the APSLive thingie...

(BTW, this system is a 18 month old P3 550, 384 MB RAM)

I know, I know - SBLive doesn't have ASIO drivers. I'm saving up for my new DAW, but want to use Nuendo in the interim so I don't have to rework everything.

The auto-configure script leaves me with lag. Can anyone recommed settings for the DirectX option that offer best performance and might solve my lag issue?

Actually, I paid $560 for a used copy. I've used the SBLive with Cakewalk Pro for the last 2 years.

My friend has a semi-pro A/V studio and recomemded Nuendo as the next step. Since I'm looking at about another 3 months of paychecks before I can afford the new hardware, I'd like to do what I can with it now.

Any advice?
