Help with my audio...

I need help with a problem I've run into while recording. The thing is, when I have my mixer (USB-PV6) my audio playback doesn't work, and that's a big problem when trying to do several tracks. I can't even hear the other tracks while recording or anything! Does anyone know the reason or have suggestions? It works when it's unplugged so I don't know what the deal is.

Have you got your inputs and outputs set correctly in your DAW - what software are you using?

Have you pressed the “Tape/USB to CTRL/HP” button?

Okay, I'm using Audacity until I get something better. I know it's bad but I'm making do with what I can afford right now.

I'm not sure what you guys are talking about when you say the Tape/USB or the CRTL/HP button. Could you explain a little further on that? Thanks.

The manual I saw for the Peavey PV 6 USB shows a button labelled "Tap/USB to CTRL/HP" which sends the signal from the USB input to your headphones.
