I'm looking for some mic cables, 20-25ft, Hi-Z, with a Male XLR connect on one side.

Price doesn't matter, I'm just worried about quality.

Any help?

That might be a little long for high Z. It may hum and roll off a bit. 10-15' is as long as I'd go. Any reason you can't go lowZ where distance wouldn't matter?

I'm guessing the applicatio is a lo-Z mic into a high-Z input, such as an instrument amp.

Use an impedance balun instead. They are under $15 and do the job nicely. You can then use standard cables, as the balun mates XLR to 1/4 inch plug.

I'm using an Echo Mona, and it has 1/4" mic inputs.

So here's my next question...

Should I buy a lo-z cable, and use a Little Imp adapter, instead of looking for a hi-z cable?

Thanks alot, I see what you mean now, goddamn am I stupid for not seein that lol.

I'm using a few different mics.

AT4033
Rode NT1000
Studio Projects C1
ADK A-51

The mic booth I built is aprox 15 ft from the interface, but I'm running the cable up the side of the booth, and into the mic, as I drilled a small hole out of the roof of the booth, to allow the mic to hang inside the booth, infront of your face, and it works great.

The booth being 8ft tall, and 5ft wide makes 26 1/2ft total length of cable I would need, however, I plan on moving the booth so as it would only be aprox 5ft away.

Thanks for all the help!

Those are all condensor mics you listed (they need phantom power). You will NOT get phantom power through a Hi Z cable.

Thanks alot for everyone's help.

I just purchased some Zaolla Cables from a Pawn Shop a few cities over.
They're 20ft, and cost me $145.00

Once again, thanks.
