Help With Mbox!

I'm trying to setup my Mbox to my computer i added the software but when i try to run it a box pops up and says "unable to find digidesign hardware plug in the hardware and make its turned on then press ok" but the mbox is plugged into the commputer and it's illuminated and theres no power on/off switch. and when i press ok the box keeps coming up and i cant do a goddamn thing. what do i do?

when you get that error...try turning the mbox off and then back on...then restart PT
-try unplugging the USB cable and then plugging it back in...then restart PT
-try uninstalling the program and reinstalling it all over again
-contact digidesign about the issue
