Help with LXP 5 repair

Hello everyone. This is my first post and it is in regards to the Lexicon LXP5. I have two of these and they both have problems, but I'll ask about one at a time. Here it is: The unit works fine except when I use a chorus/reverb patch. When the unit is processing sound it makes periodic digital clicking noises; not loud, but enough to drive you nuts and enough to render it useless in a recording situation. When the unit is on with no sound going through it, it doesn't make the sound; only when processing. It seems to occur only when using the chorus . Has anyone else had this experience?

what happens if you turn the feedback parameter down???

The feedback parameters were already low, but I reprogrammed the patch anyway and it seems to have solved the problem. I would never have thought that it was a programming issue. I get my other LXP5 back this week so I'll see if the guy was able to fix it. It was REALLY messed up, so if that is still the case I'll be asking for help on that one too. Thanks again.
