Help with Logic Delta!!

I just got my Delta 1010 with my new system a while ago, but I just don't know how to get certain things to work. I keep on going back to the pdf manual that was provided, but what it tells me doesn't work. One thing in particular are the effects. I have reverb selected, but I can't switch the effect on. It always stays bypassed. I also can't figure out how to get the click to work either. I know these are pretty stupid newbie problems, but I just can't get it to work. If you logic users could help me, I'd appreciate it alot.

Brian, I use Logic Plat. which may be close in operation. You can activate a click track on the floating transport. A button with a triangle. On the click track in arrange window is where you will select the instrument used for the click track.
Reverb effect should be activated in the mixer window on the prefered track. Once it is brought to view it will be activated and should be heard on playback. To use real time during record is a different animal but can be done.
