o.k. i finnally put together a floor plan of my tracking area, and its bloody huge!!!! what i want are some ideas for treating the room to get a little less of a live sound 
... at the moment the only sort of treatment i have are some 3m by 1m sheets of timber flooring, i have theese leaning against the wall next to the drum kit. you will notice that the ceiling is very high... i was thinking about building some portable dampeners (such as office partitions) but i don't know how much these would help... the room sounds like shit!!! any ideas?????????
