Help with Fostex Hub Nut??

Can anybody help me locate a hub nut to keep my reel from falling off the hub on my Fostex reel to reel? One of two are missing. Anybody here have one they could sell?!?! PLEASE!?!?

Have you looked on ebay to see if anyone was selling a reel to reel like yours?

And check with the Fostex techs, they may be able to help you out:

Great suggestions, but yea... I did. The techs thought I was crazy asking about such ancient equipment as a reel to reel. Ebay turns up nothing unless I want to spend $$$ on a whole other reel to reel.

It's an A-8, but I believe any of the hub nuts from Fostex will work. I think the shape and thread remained the same throughout their line.

And of course it's custom made, so getting a replacement has been a real bear.... good luck! I hope someone reads this who has an old Fostex that isn't working anymore and can hook you up.

In audio circles, that's known as a "reel clamper".
