Never said that. Only said that because the DMP3 only seems to give a certain amount of gain, turning it up a bit more caused RFI. I'm not at all concerned with what causes that anymore, since I never set the DMP3 that high with any other microphone. Just recommended that a preamp give more headroom to the SM7B than the DMP3, although people seem to like the DMP3 for the microphone.
