I recorded a couple songs earlier on my back up pc, when i tried to burn them so i could put them on my main pc with dsl, it keep on getting errors i turn the speed down used a different program, and put in a different burner, is there some kind of setting thats doin this? i dont understand......

Sorry dirtyp,
what sort of files, stored where, what sort of error messages?
Might do to grab a memorystick/thumbdrive & move it using that.
Cheers

sum mp3 tracks i just recorded them, im trying to send them through email but its taking foreever, there on my c drive in a temp folder,

Are you sure they came out as MP3s? Wave files are about 10x the size of an MP3 & take forever to send.
Check - I've occassionally made that little error.
&/OR you could run the files through a ripper & lower the file size by using higher compression.
I use a thumbdrive/memory stick a lot now for transferring individual files between comps. Especially wave files. An average song is about 30+ meg so you can fit a few on a cheap thumb drive if you have USB - USB2 is faster obvioulsy but some older comps don't like em. I have a newer quicky & an older slower one that i use, as I said, for transfering individual tracks.
Hope you can solve your prob.
Try remixing, file exporting & converting from the source again - you may have some corruption in the file/s or the process from previously. Shut down anything else on the comp you don't need to run while you're doing it.

make sure the burner is one a differern IDE cable than the harddrive you are burning from... also make sure that you dont have a lot of shit running in the background at the same time.. if a system runs out of resources, you will just be burning coasters.
