I've mostly decided on the D2424LV to record live gigs. But there's the issue of dumping the tracks onto my computer...
I don't think that the optional DVD-RAM drive is for me. It seems hassle-free, but since I don't need to archive my projects, its not a very cost-effective solution.
The ethernet card seems like an easy solution, since my computer is ready to recieve. But the internet dealers with the sale price on the D2424 ($1299) don't actually seem to offer the ethernet card as an option. I'm not keen on installing it myself, since I'd be losing the warrantee by opening the case.
Or should I just be researching the best soundcards in my price-range ($350) that support ADAT or SPDIF?
I'm a little lost. Any D2424LV owners able to shed a little insight?
