Hello. I just purchased the EZquest Boa FireWire External 12X CD Writer. I am having problems with Windows 98 SE recognizing it. It will not say I have a CD writer. The cd drive itself works cuz it's spinning the CD's etc. But the software/windows is ignoring it. I have been in contact with EZquest through email and they said they'll call me tomorrow but it can't hurt to ask for more advice. I have a Zip drive as well but that's internal. Not sure if that'd cause a conflict. In my Control Pane, System menu. Under Device Manager, and finally under Disk Drives. There is supposed to be another drive there. All I have is my normal hardrive, floppy and zip. I don't know what to do. Help me if ya can!
