Help wit adobe audition

hey everyone i was just looking for advice on bring out the voice pretty much. I am a rapper i have a homestudio, i have a good mic and all that but i was just wondering does ne1 have tips on effects they use for regular verses and such? ex. reverbs, stuff like that. I guess the best question would be wen you are recording and you record one verse, what are all the steps you do after that to get the best sounding performance, such as ne noise reductions compressions, step by step. there'countless threads on this matter all over this forum...

it all depends on the genre too.. Id suggest some slight compression, maybe dubbing more than one take on top of the vocal track to give it a slight chorus effect..
i also hear they're using a lot of auto tune techniques nowadays
