I gotta question, I want to build a booth in a storage unit (the ones where you have too much stuff in your home), I already have the foam from Auralex and I'm thinking of buying wood from Home Depot and building it from scratch, is this wise and if so, what other materials would I need and about how much would the project cost???

All this would depend on your design. Do you even have one? The costs are determined by the price of materials. Materials are determined by your design.

As to being wise, that also depends on things. Like skills, tools, power, transportation for sheetgoods AND A PLAN. ;)

I dont have a solid, drawn out plan, as of now I'm just tryna gather ideas from the pros lol, but see what everybody else has done. I'm thinkin maybe a portable studio, I've seen those on line where you can buy one, but my mentality is fuck buyin one, I might be able to build one for less cost

A whisperbooth for $2500 is a good idea, its a lot less work, they get shipped flat-packed and using the funky included hardware, its together in an hour.
