I have a recording of an acoustic guitar playing some softer strumming higher up on the neck and the pick noise is at a level that is obnoxious. Are there any easy fixes for this, i.e. eq a freq range or do I just need to rerecord it? thanks -Aaron

You could try a parametric EQ.
Start witha fairly narrow Q, then sweep the frequency with the band gain turned UP.
Just listen for when the sound you dislike becomes much more loud. Then reduce that frequency just enough that it is tame. Also, begin narrowing the Q so that it is as narrow as possible to get rid of the sound.

Or it may sound more natural to use a de-esser, or multiband compressor. You can even use the parametric simply to find the offending frequency band. Then use the de-esser or multiband.

I prefer the de-essing technique. It's a bit more transparent and doesn't suck the life out of the tone as much as EQ does.

An occasional pick noise can be spot treated, but if the noise is happening consistently you'd be better off retracking and getting the sound you want from the source/mic placement.

Oh, pick NOISE! I didn't see the I. I was wondering about hi frequency delving! Could be an interesting concept though.
When it's really a prob I export the wave file to Waverepair & zoom in the declick it. If that doesn't work I write over it in the waverepair (OR the prog will find a sample that matches the wave position either side of the selected sample & replaces it.
I do this more for string squeak from a nylon string in quiet passages than pick noise though.
