My band is now just starting on the recording of an EP. We have a 12 channel Behringer Eurorack Mixer, A AMD K62 350 with Cakewalk 9, and Sonic Foundry Vegas Pro. I am somewhat familiar with Sonic Foundry and Cakewalk, but more with Sonic Foundry. I only have the cheap soundcard built into the motherboard on my comp. We have a 2 diaphragm mics and 2 small condensers to mic the drums. We run the guitar into an amp, out of the amp through the output straight into the mixer, and that sounds good too. Now we want to start recording but we were wondering if anyone would be interested in helping us with the mixing and mastering? We are very inexperienced in that and want a new ear to help us out. We'd be happy to put our raw data onto CD and mail it out to someone who would give it a go. I'm not sure how we could do it, but I would be more than willing to try. We couldn't pay, but we'd pay for all shipping/material costs if there were any. They'd get a credit on the CD for sure. Again, I am very inexperienced, and my bandmates are even worse. I was really hoping someone would be interested in helping. I think it could be fun and interesting for both parties. If you're interested email me at Jrlemonz@aol.com or whatever the link I gave the BBS is.
