Hi I'm new here, I signed up as I need help with my uss-122? I've hooked up midi leads to my Roland V drums. I get a signal to cubasis as the meters go up and down but I get no sound out? Please help, thanx

You need some type of amplifier hooked up to the line outs of the US-122. Assuming everything else in your system is working, this should solve the problem.

You can also use headphones --- the US-122 has a headphone jack with a dedicated volume control.

I've got headphones connected and the Line out is going into my computers line in, but still no sound.
I have just tried hooking up a midi keyboard and the same thing happened, the light on the midi in is alight but no sound!
There dosen't seem much else i can try before i go insane!

Take deep breaths and reeee-lax!

In order to go further I need to know your system configuration, like Mac or Windows, operating system, etc.

Also, just because the output of the US-122 is labeled 'line out' and your computer has a plug labeled 'line in' doesn't mean it's the right place to plug it in. Unplug it and stick to the headphones for now.

And rather than sticking with Cubasis, which as far as I know doesn't even support VSTi's, try downloading the free demo version of Tracktion. It will give you a much better indication of whether the US-122 is the problem or not...
