Help Pro Tools & Alesis M1Active 520 USB will it work ?

I want some decent monitors to start out with and I do not have a lot of cash. I want these : Alesis M1Active 520 USB Studio Monitors.
I do not know if they will work with protools because they use a usb connection as the speaker inputs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated or any suggestions for monitors for the same $200 price tag.

I know nothing about the quality of these monitors but Alesis does make the m1 active 520 available in a non usb form for $200.

I don't have any idea either, try to search for their website and look for specs and other functions of this Alesis monitor.
