Help! Power supply for a 788 studio needed!

Morning all!
Have finally moved on from my four track andf got my hands on a 788 but it has no power supply - anyone got a spare?
I emailed Tascam and they've quoted me $40 plus postage from the States for one; does anyone know of a suitable (sub $50) equivalent?

What country are you in? and what is your mains power supply voltage? As you said, "From the states".

You have to get the right power supply for the country you are in.

I haven't seen many out there. there was some company in Mass. that was selling some but I heard they were a shot in the dark. Have you seen the power supply for a 788? It's LARGE. You'll do better to just order it from Tascam. It's only $40.00 US (I recently purchased one) and they will ship it to you quickly. The 788 is worth the $40.00 power supply. Trust me.
