any ideas why or how to fix it?
When I am recording, the sound wavers in volume as heard via headphones. I don't have much experience using the 4-track but I have read the manual and perused internet forums looking for similar issues and advice.
If anyone has some thoughts, I would appreciate any useful input on the matter, or if this has been addressed elsewhere, a link to the relevant thread would be very helpful. I have been researching online for hours, I've asked friends on the phone and I've posted queries in a few places online.

Thanks in advance for any useful ideas in troubleshooting this issue.
