Hi
Am doing this on behalf of boyfriend who is in danger of smashing up all recording equipment out of sheer frustration.
Has recorded CD on Fostex VF16, all mixed etc - no problems, used some compression but not lots, have used Maxell CD R's on a Marantz burner. No problems on our CD players or a mates but have given two other people copies and the tracks sound like they have a crackly sound on them (like you get when speaker cables aren't connected properly) AND it builds up - nothing on track 1 but by track 6 is awful.
I've checked the CD's in my player and they're fine.
Can anyone help?
