Hey everyone-- I have the Adaptec DirectCD and Windows 95 of 98 (can't think at the moment hehe) and I can't seem to figure out how to burn a cd. I have Kazaa and music match to get the songs from, but I still can't figure out how to do this. Your help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks sooo much!!
 
ok well first you put a cd in the thing and then you open up the thing and then you drag and drop all your songs into the box and then you press record the cd and then you wait and then when the cd comes out its done!
 
Well first, you should uninstall Kazaa and install kazaa lite. Then go get a copy of adaware and have it remove all the spyware that Kazaa installed on your system before it crashes it.

You can make a data CD by dragging the mp3's into the main window after you've clicked on the data cd layout tab. If you want to make an audio CD, you need to convert the mp3's to wav files first. Then you drag the .wav's into the main window after clicking on the audio cd layout tab. Then you click on the red record-like button which brings up the CD creation options box.

The program has a wizard that will do most of this for you. The Help files are also useful.

What problem have you been having?
 
I just go and buy the CDs I want. No computer needed! Unless I'm ordering from Amazon.com :)
 
its too bad napster is gone. i mean the original napster of course before they started restricting things.

that was so much fun with the chats and millions of ppls and all that.

i tried a couple of the newer progs and they take over your whole computer with all kinds of annoying crap. i deleted them and now im a little reluctant to even try those things any more.
 
the good cd burner software is so easy.

you keep windows explorer open with all your songs in a list and you keep the burner software open and you drag the songs down to the bottom of the screen to the burner software button and it changes windows automatically and you drag and drop the song to the box.

they change the format and everything automatically for you.

Go the store and buy the F*cking Cd!

Even disregarding the whole copy debate, the sample rates of bloody k@@@#@@ mp3's are mostly 128 kbps, which is an inferior quality if you really want to enjoy music. People seem to be deaf at that one.

And I agree with Roel, which fuckers started these whole k@z@" spam? Evrybody who uses the word should send a dollar to Dragon each time they used it. Within' the week he could get a better server with that money, so we could post all the time :D

Don't answer stupid questions with stupid answers... He asked how to burn CD. It's not a stupid question. First, light a fire. I mean a REAL FIRE by your cigarette lighter. Set up a burning flame. Put your CD's on the fire. Don't wait untill it goes to the soot & dust. Hurry put your ass loaded with your K-@#*$% stuff in the flame... It's very necesary to include them burnt also... You'll get the best your ass can get... :)



PS. ...and don't forget to send one dollar to the dragon.
 
to record the songs to a cd they need to be in wav. format. At least assuming you want to play this cd in most any cd player. So after you collect all the songs you want (and vowed to not breach copyrites) be sure they are all converted from MP3's to wav files. then drag and drop them to your CD software..... click record.
