Hey All,
I recently got an old Proteus 2 unit, and I'm trying to get it so I can save and load my patch settings with Sysex commands.
I'm doing everything right and by the book as far as I know. I altered and saved just one patch, 64, as a test into my sequencing software, and then put the unit back to factory specs.
When I play it back into the unit, the MIDI light flashes and the display says "Receiving Data for Preset 64". And yet afterwards 64 is still just the default and nothing has been done.
I've tried different software for recording and sending (Cubase, MIDI-OX) and I've chaged everything I can think of changing. And it IS receiving the info, it's just not actually changing anything.
If anyone has any solution to this I'd be most appreciative. Thanks!
