Hi,
I just bought a BR800, and would appreciate people's advice with two problems that I am having.
First, and most important, when recording a line in source (mp3 player) at the same time as two mics. (XLR's), I want to fade the mp3 player down to complete silence, and cannot do this: there is always some volume present for this line source. (I use the BR800 in 4 track record mode to do this).
Any ideas on how to fade the mp3 player out so that I end up with silence? (It is important that I am able to use the quarter inch inputs for the line in rather than the 1/8" input because the former method allows me to simultaneously record the mp3 player and mic. sources, whereas going in to the 1/8" input only allows me to record from that input).
Another problem that I am having is that the right internal mic. is about two thirds less sensitive than the left internal mic. - is this a common problem (obviously, I'll have to take the unit back because of this).
Thanks,
Gvdv.
