I know there was a post about this a day ago, but I decided to post my question with more detail.

I'm looking for my FIRST audio interface. Right now, since I'm just starting out, my budget is at around $120 to $200, but I want to stay away from $200 because I want to buy a pair of mics too. I'm planning on recording vocals, acc guitar, acc piano, and various percussions.

What are your suggestions of interfaces with at least MOST of these criteria?
-Atleast 2 in, must be XLR/Inst combo
-Phantom power
-Seperate headphone/speaker outs
-Mix knob for monitoring/computer sounds
-Good quality sounds (in your opinion)
-Mac/PC compatible
-very very very little technical problems

I would also like something that isn't ancient, by that I mean I want something that has a nice physical design. If it looks nice, and not like an ancient robot, I will feel more comfortable and more encouraged to record in my room/studio.

You can get an M-Audio Fastrack Pro in that price range mate. It would cover what you're needing and its also very portable. Have a look at Fleabay, used prices are even cheaper!
