Help on new pickups? (stock Squier Strat)

The first guitar I ever had.. is the one I still have. That's why it's a Squier Strat. But it's very decent for what it is.

I've never bought new pickups, and I don't really know what's good. So a couple questions:

1) What would be a reasonable upgrade? Something not too expensive..

2) Are they hard to install?

Oh and I have double humbuckers.
