Help on Acid (newbie)

Hi, I'm using Acid 1.0 d and Soundforge 4.5. I'm trying to lay down some deomo tracks. I record first the guitar track as a .wav and then a vocal or bass track the same way. When I add a second track into Acid, it's always at a faster teempo and I can't get them to be timed right. Do I have something set up wrong? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same problem. Thanks in advance.

I'm sure the reason no one has answered your question is because there could be a lot of reasons why your tracks are not "lineing" (sp?) up.

Is the second track you're recording "live"?

Is the second track a sample?

Is it a "one shot".

Disk-based?

Loop?

Have you changed it's properties?

Have you stretched the "tempo"?

Etc...

Also...

It could be the fact that you are using Version 1.0. it might be a "CRACK". If that's the case then you will have to probably pay the price in terms of learning on your own.

If you expound a little bit more, in terms of what is specifically the problem, then I'm sure you'll get some more answers to your question.
