i just acquired a studio projects vtb1 and i own a m-audio mobil pre with interface with preamps, if i wanted to get the sound of the ep to the computer what would be the best way?

Sorry, I'm probably missing something obvious here. 
What's "the ep"?
If you want to use the vtb-1 through the mobile pre then you'd go from the output of the vtb-1 to one of the LINE inputs on the mobile pre.
Is that even what you were asking?

yes that what i meant, and sorry ep was sp "studio projects", at what level should i set the gain on the mobilpre, thanx
