help needed with line 6 tone port

does anyone know why mine wont let me record two seperate tracks simutaniously? i.e. i have the mic hooked in and the guitar hooked in and have it set so that they both play through the monitors, but when i record into adobe audition only one comes through.
 
yeah, i tried that but in adobe it only gave me the option of stereo/right channel/ and left channel, it doesnt recognise the multiple inputs for some reason.
 
I use the same set up. I have the Line 6 UX2 going into Adobe Audition 2.0. The output of the Toneport is one channel is output 1 and 2 and the other output is 3 and 4. On your audition track you need to select output 1 and 2 for one track and output 3 and 4 for the other track. Discovered this just a couple of weeks ago. Works like a charm.
 
will it work that same way in audition 1.5? i'm not at my studio computer right now so i cant check.
