Help Needed identifying guitar sound???

Hey Guitar Experts,



I'm trying to figure out what kind of guitar (and how its played) is used to get the sound in the songs below. In the songs its a really faint sound that sort of gels the song together in my mind since this type of music is drum and bass driven usually. I don't know much about guitar strings/chords or how to play one so what i would resort to is trying to create that sound is some type of vsti or sample library if it's possible since im doing everything inside the box. In some tracks its really hard to hear b/c the tracks are busy so here are multiple links.

Any ideas? If no recommendations on the vsti or sample library any ideas what type of guitar and playing style? Thanks for any help.
