Help need Fostex G16

Hello. I am Carlos from Barcelona, in Spain. Recently I have acquired a second hand tape recorder FOSTEX G16 . The seller give me a copy of the manual translated to spanish but is incomplete. Mainly with respect to the functions of the second mode. My main problem is that the G16 has formed the inputs so that input 1 feeds tracks 1 and 9, the input 2 tracks 2 and 10 etz, when what to my it interests to me it is that each input feeds its corresponding track and no other. Them if you could inform to me about this concrete problem or indicate me how obtaining a complete manual in spanish or english indifferently.

Hi Carlos

The signal that appears on 9 - 16 will disappear as soon as you plug an RCA plug into an input on one of those channels.

Is there any aspect of 2nd mode you're not familiar? or all of it? I have a G24S with full manuals, would be happy to answer your questions...

All problems with the inputs are Ok. when a RCA jack is plugged on inputs 9 -16 the signal from inputs 1 -8 dissapear on the meter display.
