Help mixing and mastering.....

Ok, found the right forum to post.. Sorry for the newbie mistake..

Please help critique my mixes. These are rough demos, but I am trying to mix and master them myself.

I record with an MBox using Pro tools LE. I like it so far and have had pretty satisfactory results.

I listened to goodbye.

Good sounds in general.
Snare drum is too quiet because the guitars are a bit too loud.
Guitars and snares hang out in the same frq. range most of the time.
If you boosted 5k to make the sanre sound better, maybe dont boost the 5k on the guitar so that the snare pops out more.
More bass guitar is needed for sure add some 60hz to that bass and turn it up a little.
Vocals sounded a bit buried, sounded like they needed a biot more compression and a little more high end eq presence.
