(help?) mild(ish) burning smell from akg p220.. ??

Have only had my setup for a couple of weeks.. first time tonight, i noticed a faint(ish) burning smell anytime i power on the mic.. using an arturia mini fuse 2.. or does this mic just normally "smell" like this? it seems worse when plugged in.. it kind of smells that way unplugged and powered off too...... only notice up close... i checked cable.. (both ends).. no smoke.. nothing feels hot..? Have all unplugged for now.. (just in case)..
 
nevermind, i figured it out............. Gator Frameworks pop filter...... Smells like burning electronics... (doh!)
 
I guess we can chalk that up as a first! If it's the metal one, maybe you can just give it a quick wash.
