Hi, I apologize if this is in the wrong area.

Recently I picked up a full on working Teac 15 mixing console (There is another thread on this).

After testing everything, it all comes back positive, except for the talkback module (which I may be using wrong) and the VU meter lights.

I'd really like to replace the bulbs in them and found this page that explains how to get it done. I am handy with a soldering iron but when it comes to numbers and ohms and resistors and all of that, I am clueless. After reading this page, I have an understanding but wouldn't mind if this was broken down into an easier form for me to understand. I am capable of removing the VU bridge and getting inside of the meters, but can anyone point me to the right website where I can purchase the LED lights and the correct resistors to lower the voltage for these LEDs?

Also, can anyone explain what needs to be removed and replaced?

(Is it as easy and removing the current resistor and replacing with a new one? ... and the same with the lights?)

Thanks 100 times over.

Josh
