Help me put my studio together

This is the equipment I have:
Alesis ADAT
Alesis Studio 24 Mixer
Roland DA50 Studio Monitors
Mac G3 Blue and White 300Mhz
An old PC running ACID (barely)
Roland 880 Ex Digital Recorder
Alesis Quadraverb GT
ART Tube Pac pre amp
AKG C3000B mic

I'm on the verge of buying DigiDesign's 001. I know I need an external hard drive and a cd burner. Can my Mac effectively run the software? Should I look at alternatives to Pro Tools? How do I make all this stuff work together?

I'm a PC guy, so can't answer your question, but you maight want to post something in the ''Computers . . ." section.

E.G. Will a Mac run . . . etc etc. and how do I set it up?
