What's up guys I'm going to be purchasing a new Mic soon, and I found a good deal on a cad e100s and blue blueberry Mic, the blueberry will be 200 more though. I wanted to get some reviews on the mics as far as how the handle compression and eq, and how they will sound with a 2 track wav file. So if you have these mics HELP ME OUT! The Mic will be used for recording over hip hop instrumentals.

To be honest.....for that kind of money, you have a LOT more choices than those two mics, and while I'm not doing Hip Hop/Rap myslef....I get the feeling that the two mics you are looking at may not be the best choice for that style of vocal.

Now....there are a lot of variables that you don't even mention, so it's hard to say....but you may want to spend some time checking out other mics.
There are not a lot of Hip Hop/Rap guys here......maybe you should go to FutureProducers.com.....they all seem to hang out there. :)

I'm no mic expert, but I would buy a mic based on how well it will work for you and your vocal style rather how well it "handles" compression or EQ. Buying mics sight-unseen is a bit of a crapshoot. No matter how many reviews or opinions you read, you won't know how it will work for you until you try it.

I've bought several mics off the internet never having heard or tried them before the purchase. I read as much as I could, closed my eyes and pressed Submit Order. When they arrive, I try them out and see if they work for me. I've been hit or miss, but that's the chances you take if you can't try a mic in your studio before purchasing. I'll say, I've always found a use for all my mics except for one and I sold that one off.
