I've been sitting in front of my computer for 10 years trying to improve. Perhaps after 10 years you'll know what to do!

But seriously, that sample you posted was of a backing track for a LP song and then the singing you recorded...Separately? Why were the two elements separated? How are we to help you mix if you don't show us what the mix sounds like?

Where is all the low end? The mids are rockin', but there is no umph.

Are you listening on a regular home stereo with a 'smiley face' EQ setting? That would explain it.


BTW, the effects aren't the problem, the EQ and/or the core sounds are.

I just wanted to mix this for me.. But nevermind, i found the trick..

EQ, Compressor, Multiband and little Reverb and i got very nice result..
