Help me decided on a cd recorder

Hey guys, Im looking to buy a new cd recorder to record to from my Br-8 soon to be adat machines. The two in looking at right now are the
HHB CDR830 BurnIT Cd recorder
and
TASCAM CD-RW700

Is one better than the other? 500 is the top limit of my price range.
 
Can the tascam burn onto any type of CD-R or just the more expensive brands. It seems on the tascam website they say only specific kinds but I've heard other people say you can do any kind. Thanks
 
It isn't so much a problem of the recorder not being able to write them as it is the quality of the CD-R's themselves.

Do a search and you'll find a couple of threads where people list the brands they've had the most luck with.

I use Taiyo Yuden exclusively and have never once had a problem.
