help me copy my cd's!

hello, i've just had a cd that i recoreded on my zoom digital studio mastered at a sound studio...not sure what they did but it sounds louder/clearer...problem is that when i try to burn copies on my lap top it loses volume/quality....i've tried a few different cdr's so i don't think it's that...any ideas?

If you're just making 1:1 copies, something is seriously wrong somewhere...

What program are you using to make the copies and how are you using it?

you're not trying to burn them 24 bit are you? because the program you are using may be mixing them down to 16 bit automatically because it needs to be 16 bit on a cd. takes control out of your hands. also make sure the program you are using isn't "normalizing" the songs.

yeah, chances are it's just your program that is burning it bad.
I'd try making a CD IMAGE of your master cd with whatever program you use, then burn the image onto another cd.
