I'd search........but, for sake of discussion.

I had an idea a while back to get some 2x4 and make some square/rectangular pieces out of them.....then nail on some plywood or maybe even a little thicker so it looks like an old 7-11 window.....then glue some treatment foam onto that. If you want small piece that can be easily transported or stored somewhere you could hinge a few of these pieces together to make a full wall.......do this at least 3 times....4 for better results....and then you've got a cheap booth. You could even go as far as making a lid to put on top. If you wanted you could then mount some fitting up top to make a drop down mic stand.

Its not pro, but its better than your closet. And its probably just right for someone like me living in an apartment.

Who thinks this sucks?

Can you estimate how much it will cost. Because i was thinking about buying one but they are in the thousands...u know

No....but the price stickers at your local home depot can.

I can guarantee you it won't be a few thousand bucks,

If you made it like I described I bet you could get out of home depot for less than $100....maybe as much as $200. this is assuming you own all the proper materials.....hammer, screwdriver, etc. Prob don't need a saw since if you just want a straight cut HD will do that for you.

The foam will cost you more than that though. but if you're cheaping it up anyways, why not just buy cheap foam?
