help me about gigastudio 24

i just bought a TASCAM US-122 with GIGASTUDIO 24
there are a lots of effect and instrument in gigastudio 24. But i don't know how to record these instrument. Any one can tell me how to use gigastudio 24? i just want to make my own drum and piano in gigastudio 24. then i want to use Cool edit pro to record my guitar then i will mix them together.
any one can help me? or just give me a good website about how to use gigastudio 24?

gigastudio can be a pain in the butt.... I'm actually surprised Tascam had the nerve to bundle it with the 122 USB thingy you have lol

I actually run a computer (laptop) dedicated to gigastudio...you need to have a MIDI sequencer/multitrack program such as Cubase or Sonar to use it...and oh, a PC (not on Mac!) and you just program or use a MIDI controller from there.

Be careful, Gigastudio can get VERY specific and is not intended for the faint of heart! Movie soundtrack composers use gigastudio more than anything (Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfmann) and I know those guys usually hook 2 or three Gigastudios up to Logic or Digital Performer.

what kind of music do you record? Depending on your style I would say stick to something simpler such as Reason or Fruity Loops.

thx a lot. i already got gigastudio160 and cakewalk. They work now. but i got nother problem. I'm looking for a good drum kit for gigastudio. the drum sound in gigastudio sucks. do u have any idea for the drum kit?
