HELP! Low input levels.

I have been recording for a few years and doing ok with cubase and a firepod. The analog inputs for drum machine, synth were always kinda low and I could comensate by maxing the gain on the firepod channel. Now I have a alesis master control with no gain control on all but two channels. The input levels from my synth and drum machine are incredably low. Do I need several pres to do this or am I just missing some output level control on my drum machine and synth?

Most likely this. Double check your outputs first then report back...

Inputs 3-6 on the mastercontrol are fixed gain and accept line level inputs. Like mattr said, check your outputs. Are you using line level outputs?
