Hi guys,

so i am a solo type musicians/engineer recording one track at a time (usually makes around at least 15 tracks per project) and my music genre is Green Day /Blink 182 type kind of. Any good advices on finding a good audio interface which can create a commercial like music? my studio is a mixerless and currently have the Presonus FP10 with Sonar. My budget is around $900. my options are MOTU 828mk3 (the best of their firewire interface line), Presonus Firestudio Tube (the best from presonus audio interface line), or M-Audio 2626. Any better gears will be appreaciated! BTW firewire/USB2 prefered

OK from your post it seems you already have all of the necessary equipment. what i don't understand is why you need an interface when you already possess the fp10?

isnt it that more expensive audio interface sounds better especially when playing 10 more tracks simultaneously? and they even have better technology like the JetPLL jitter reduction technology and presonus firestudio comes with superchannel tubes. im not sure if there's any audible difference between a cheaper fp10 and the presonus firestudioe tube or the MOTU.
