I'm trying to switch from the old, original version of Vegas to start using Reaper. Are there any really basic tutorials to get started? I can't even get it to play a track. I can't record anything with it.
I've looked on the Reaper forums and haven't found anything to help me.

Here is a beginner tutorial I posted at a different forum.

Reaper Tutorial

One you have your recording interface set up you can inset track from top menu "track"

Then on the track itsself click on bar with numbers on it and select input...click little monitor button and then click arm track for recording...then press record...you may have to raise volume on track fader depending on your recording loudness.
