Help! I smoked my ADAT!!!

Help.... Anyone out there have a schematic for an older black face ADAT? I smoked a capacitor on the power supply board component # C107. The little cap is charred beyond recognition so I can't read the value.

Anyone out there have a manual with a parts list?

HISTORY:
Everything was going along great, and the little blackface ADAT was following it's newer cousin; recording and playing and rewinding, syncing up perfectly....when all of a sudden we smelled smoke!

I tried contacting Alesis by e-mail and phone; so far no answer. I had hoped someone out there had a similar problem and knew the fix!

c107 is a 103 pf at 1 kv in the primary of the switching pwr supply
 
KID'S DONT TRY THIS AT HOME !

I know just enough electronics to get my self in trouble!
ADAT Power supply bad, I called ALESIS Tech support and they told me C107 was a 47 Microfarad capacitor 35V elect.
I replaced Capacitor C107 with a 47 ufd cap from radio shack. The unit powered up and worked for a while. Until under a load while fast forwarding.... KAPOW!! the capacitor blew up again. I wasn't sure if it was just a cheap part from radio shack or if elect meant electrolitic (CAN TYPE CAPACITOR)so I tried a 47K (Stupid me K=10
#@*&^^$@@#^Sizzle Pow pop Kabluie#$$$%&^&^@*&%$@!$....

This time I fried the cap and several other components!

I ordered a complete power supply board from Alesis, (Refurbished, they aren't making any new ones) The swap out was simple, a few screws and plug and play. The ADAT is back in the rack and running great. ($190.00 plus Shipping)

that is interesting according to my schematic, without looking at the actual pwer supply c107 is a high voltage ceramic cap, not a lytic, could be the schem is labeled wrong, somethin I would catch if I was in the pwer supply itself , sorry bout that

You're right the new supply came with a ceramic resistor C107.... If I had just been patient and found the schematic and correct component I would have saved about $200 bucks!
On the other hand, now at least I have a newly tested board. It came with a spec. sheet listing all the voltages at different outputs etc. Thanks again for the reply. May I e-mail you directly in the future If I need Information?
It sounds like you know a lot more about this stuff than I do!
