Before i start its not about how to record live its about music so sorry if its in the wrong forum.
I have been asked to play some live piano in a cocktail bar on valentines day.
basically 2.5hours of music in the background to an audience i am presuming is middle aged/ possibly romantic since its the day for it.
It's not meant to be obvious but im trying to think.
i have ideas of jazz and things but i was wondering if anyone had any idea of music. riffs that can be made to last or artists that specialize in that sort of music.
i can play to a sort of grade 7 standard but i only have a week and a half to learn. so if anyone has any simple effective ideas its much appreicated.
just filler/ elevator music really but its my first time performing for money so i'd like to make a good impression.
