I HAVE A SOUND BLASTER 64 LIVE. I ALSO HAVE DATA BECKER MUSIC CENTER PRO STUDIO ON MY COMPUTER. MY QUESTION IS : LETS SAY I RECORD 4 TRACKS. EVERY TRACK IS PUT INTO A FILE ON MY HARD DRIVE. WHEN I BURN A CD I AM ONLY GETTING ONE TRACK. HOW CAN I PUT ALL MY TRACKS IN THE SAME FILE SO IT BURNS AS A WHOLE? PLEASE HELP THANK YOU

FIRST UP, WE CAN HEAR YOU JUST FINE WITHOUT ALL THE YELLING. :)

I'm not familiar with that software, but what's probably happening is that each file you record is becoming a separate .wav file and not being mixed down to a single .wav. You'll have to find someway to mixdown to a single .wav file before all the tracks can be burned to disc as a single song. If the software you currently have doesn't have any type of multitrack mixing option, check out n-track to start with. The shareware version is downloadable from www.n-track.com, but doesn't allow the one thing you would want to do with it until it's registered. Registration is $35 for everything but 24bit support and $55 with the 24bit support included. You can then open each file to a separate track in n-track, adjust the mix however you want, then save the song as a single .wav and burn to CD or whatever.

Of course, check to see if the program you are using currently supports anything like this, and if all else fails but you can at least play back all four tracks on the PC at once, then you could use another wav editor and record what is being played. Then everything would be in a single .wav file. I would only do this as a last resort however.

Hey! Did you ever get an answer?
Are you still using Music Center Pro?
