Help, help (a horrible Heffalump)!

I've written a text which I'm not happy with a line in it. It goes like this:

So we got swept into your swirl
you are a special type of girl <- Glaaah.
how come you can make us
walk the other way
live another day
when you laugh
what more will you steal

And the second line just makes me *puke*, but I can't figure out anything better. Come on people, I need ideas. I like the word swirl, but if you can come up with any replacements for the first line with similar meaning it's OK too.

Swirling

"Swirl"...what a great word. Umm..."Twirl" and "Whirl" come to mind (if you want to stay with the theme), or I guess you could change the second line to something like, "So now we're living in YOUR world"...but It's kinda' hard to do this without a little more context.

Twirl and whirl feels like the same word as swirl, so I can't use that, but
"you brought us to your twisted world" could work. I'll sleep on it. Thanks!

They help me, and most prowriters use them to.
