Help! Do samson mixers work good?

I have the opportunity to buy a
Samson 15 channel mixer really
cheap for chilean prices (400 US$)
Are they good or do I better safe
more for a makie or a behringer?

You are better off purchasing a
Mackie 16404. The mic preamps are better than Samsons and the eq's are much smoother
and have a lot more musicality to it. The 1604 also has 7 aux sends compared to either Samson's TM300 or TM500 2 aux sends. but if you are looking to use either Samson in a P.A. application, they would make a great buy as both have 150 and 250 watts respectively per channel into 4 ohms.
